According to the United Nations, “migrants and displaced persons are among the most vulnerable and marginalized groups in society and are often exposed to abuse and exploitation”.

The UN’s International Migrants Day 2022 coincides with the World Cup final in Qatar, an event that brought to the forefront the abuse and exploitation experienced by hundreds of migrants during the construction of the soccer stadiums.
