In the audio recording and editing area, the options to cut, trim and split have been included. Through the “cut” option, the unwanted fragment is removed. “Trim” allows the user to select part of the audio track and automatically delete the rest. And “split” allows to cut the audio and separate it into several tracks.

In the “honeycombs” the trial version of audio conferences has been added, which facilitates communication between members of the same chat or honeycomb. It is also possible to create a working group and invite people from other teams or media.

The first version of a virtual studio has been created, allowing members to invite and call people who do not have a Colmena account, facilitating communication with external parties. And, in the general menu, the options have been grouped together to organize everything in a more structured way.

The publishing area has also benefited from the creation of a first version that allows finished products to be shared with other media. A step-by-step assistant guides the user to generate this content and prepare the draft publication. The user with the role of administrator manages and approves the publications.

The next set of updates will be available by the end of the first quarter of 2023. This will include expanding the number of audio formats that can be imported and exported, recording audio conferences, and one-click distribution of publications.
